Do you advocate a vegan diet?
No.
В vegan diet just for itself is not healthy and is not optimized in terms of nutrition. It is better than 90 percent of other types of diets out there but still, it is not the most optimal diet. For example, oil, sugar, Coke, fries, chips, and all other refined products are all vegan.
What diet do you recommend?
A whole-food plant-based diet that is nutritionally optimized in addition to other health-promoting lifestyle changes.
Why there are sometimes ads for meat, eggs, milk, other “junk” food and supplements, and products you do not endorse on your website?
The advertising that is served on our website is contextual and produced by the Google ad network. Sometimes the AI algorithm will show a “wrong” type of advertisement. We do our best to filter out all advertising that is not appropriate. There are thousands of ads displayed on our website daily and we do not have the capabilities to handpick every ad that Google ad network advertising will display. We appreciate this may be distressing to some of our visitors but we rely on advertising to pay for the maintenance and existence of this website.
Why do you write about vegan “junk” food?
Many vegans remove animal products from their diets for moral and ethical reasons, some people do it because of their religious beliefs. Many people that do have a vegan diet do not avoid animal products for health reasons. There are several social media accounts that are very popular within the community, and also corporations and organizations are dedicated to sharing vegan “junk” food.
Do the author of this website eats meat?
Yes on rare occasions. The author of this website is not an advocate of any belief system. The author of this website has a diet that is based on scientific research for the avoidance of diseases of affluence, overall health, and longevity. We write about the health benefits of a whole-food plant-based diet. If you’re against consuming animal products for moral reasons that is fine with us, but we don’t endorse any belief systems.
What about global warming and animal testing?
We do write about all of the aspects of the vegan lifestyle but our main focus is to write about the health benefits of a whole-food plant-based diet.
What about raw, fruitarian, vegan keto, and all other types of vegan sub-diets?
The author of this website endorses a diet that is in line with human evolution for optimizing overall health and longevity. The best available balance of evidence strongly suggests that a diet centered around whole plant foods is the healthiest. For more details visit our editor’s pick section.

If you are from the U.S. you can look up your local nutrition-oriented clinician. You can start by searching these websites:
Комитет врачей за ответственную медицину

Врачи с растительной основой - Найти практикующего врача
Can I ask for a review of a specific health topic or an article to be written about specific issues?
Please do. If you have a request about reviewing any health and nutrition-related issue that is not currently reviewed on our website please be free to contact us. If you have any suggestions, advice, or idea for future articles you can send us a message on the contact page.
Do you cherry-pick studies for a review? What are the scientific criteria for selection?
There is nothing in nutritional science that needs to be cherry-picked. Most of the nutritional science is well documented and researched for decades now. In the last 50 years around 300,000 papers have been published on nutrition in English-language medical journals alone. The real problem is the unwillingness of institutions to “enforce” new диетические рекомендации to the general population as a new nutritional policy. The food pyramid has and will be the same in the forcible future. And this is a big problem at the institutional level. The problem that has created a necessity for websites like GoVeganWay.com to exist.
